Terms & Conditions

Prices & Terms of Payment

All prices quoted will be in Pounds (£) Sterling excluding VAT unless otherwise stated, and will be charged at the rate in force at the time the service is provided.

If a Purchase Order Number is required on invoices, this must be supplied to Adapt & Connect Ltd in advance of delivery. Payment terms are strictly 30 days.

In the event that invoices are not paid in accordance with our terms, we reserve the right to charge interest (5% above the current base rate) pursuant to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Clients with accounts in default agree to pay our reasonable expenses, including legal fees and costs for collection by third-party agencies.

Insights Learning Support Materials

Adapt & Connect Ltd is a licensed practitioner of Insights Learning & Development. Where Insights products are purchased as part of a learning intervention, we commit to placing the order and making full payment to Insights Learning & Development directly on your behalf.

Minimum Service Provision & Insights Discovery Validity

Insights Discovery has been awarded the Occupational Test Tools Certification Mark from DNV GL and the PTC Kitemark from the British Psychological Society (BPS), confirming it has been independently assessed and found to comply with EFPA Test Review guidelines.

All facilitators working for and on behalf of Adapt & Connect Ltd are accredited and licensed to deliver Insights Discovery. Our minimum service provision, once a delegate has completed an Insights Discovery profile, is either a facilitated group workshop or a one-to-one debrief or coaching session.

Important

We do not supply Insights Discovery profiles without one of these interventions. Should a delegate not be able to attend a planned intervention, the client agrees that the employee will not be sent their profile until they have rebooked, the full invoice value remains payable, and an additional charge may apply for any new intervention arranged.

Costs & Expenses

Adapt & Connect Ltd will charge for all reasonable expenses incurred in relation to the provision of products and services, including travel, accommodation and meals. Mileage is charged at £0.55 per mile, since April 2026, in line with HMRC's approved mileage allowance rates.

The following terms apply for travel:

  • Flights of less than 4 hours — Economy class
  • Flights of 4–7 hours — Premium Economy or equivalent
  • Flights of more than 7 hours — Business Class
  • Rail journeys of less than 4 hours — Standard Class
  • Rail journeys of more than 4 hours — First Class or equivalent

Workshop Participants

  • Amendments to confirmed proposals

    Our standard pricing is based on a minimum number of delegates attending. Should attendance fall below the minimum stated in the proposal, the delegate rate may increase.

  • Adding participants

    Additional participants may be added up to 14 days prior to delivery. Requests made after this time cannot be guaranteed but we will endeavour to accommodate.

  • Removing participants

    Any reduction in numbers must be confirmed more than 7 days prior to delivery. Changes made less than 7 days prior will be charged in full.

  • Non-attendance

    Delegates who are booked but fail to attend on the day without prior notice will be charged in full.

Cancellation & Postponement

A booking cancelled or postponed by the client will be subject to the following charges:

Cancellation 28–15 days before delivery 50% of fees and materials costs (plus expenses incurred)
Cancellation 14–0 days before delivery 100% of fees and materials costs (plus expenses incurred)
Postponement 14–0 days before delivery 50% of fees and materials costs (plus expenses incurred)

Where international travel is booked in advance and the client seeks to amend or cancel, the client is liable for any and all additional travel or accommodation costs incurred, regardless of notice given. Where domestic travel is booked and the client amends the date, the client is liable for additional costs if less than 28 days notice is given.

Delivery

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that our facilitator(s) have all necessary information prior to delivery. This includes Insights Discovery Evaluators being completed at least two weeks in advance by all participants. Failure to supply this information may affect our ability to deliver the agreed services.

Adapt & Connect Ltd reserves the right to substitute the agreed facilitator if circumstances require.

Refunds

Refunds and overpayments should be notified and requested within 12 months of the original invoice or payment date. Requests received after this period may not be processed, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.

Personal Liability

Persons attending an event do so at their own risk. Adapt & Connect Ltd does not accept liability for personal injury or damage sustained during any event.

Bribery & Corruption

Adapt & Connect Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. Clients are requested to report any instance of suspected or actual improper conduct by any employee or person engaged by us in confidence to our director.

Precedence

In the event that Adapt & Connect Ltd enters into an agreement for the supply of products and services with a client and there is any conflict between the terms of that agreement and these standard terms, the terms of the specific agreement shall take precedence.

Data Protection & Privacy

Adapt & Connect Ltd's data protection and privacy policies are updated from time to time to adhere to current law.
