Insights Discovery
Insights Discovery Team Workshops
An Insights Discovery workshop gives your team a shared language for how they communicate, make decisions and handle pressure — and a day to practise using it. Everyone completes a profile beforehand, then we build your team wheel and work through what it shows.
Half day, full day, or built into an away day you have already booked. Half days from £1,500, full days from £2,500.

Book a callInsights Discovery Away Days
Building Insights Discovery into your away day or off-site.
Insights Discovery integrates well into a wider team away day or off-site — sitting alongside strategic planning, social time and other team-building activities.
I've delivered sessions in all sorts of formats and settings — including a workshop run immediately before a team went go-karting together. The colour energy conversation gave the group a shared language before they even got behind the wheel, and it made the competitive banter afterwards even better.
Whether you're planning a half-day session within a longer event or want Insights Discovery to be the central focus of the day, I'll work with you to design a session that fits your wider goals and the time available.

Let's discuss using Insights Discovery with your team.
Tell us a little about your organisation and we'll be in touch.
Senior Leadership Team
Chelmsford College.
After a restructure the senior leadership team was 50% new members, a mix of promoted staff and new appointments. They needed a structured way to accelerate how quickly the team could understand one another's communication styles and build a shared language from the outset.
“Matthew has a natural affinity to ensure the team get the most out of their Insights profile and helps us to understand the inter-connectivity between team members. His approach is thoughtful and considered but delivered in a relaxed and entertaining way.”
Senior Leader, Chelmsford College
The team reported clearer communication and more productive meetings, with greater awareness of when they needed more structure, pace, or space for reflection. The programme is being extended to the governing body.
Who runs the session.
Every workshop is delivered by Matthew Cook, a licensed Insights Discovery practitioner, consultant, facilitator and coach.
Not a trainer working from someone else's deck. The person you speak to first is the person in the room on the day.

Half-day workshops are £1,500 to £3,000 and full days £2,500 to £6,000+, with Insights Discovery profiles at £100 to £175 per person depending on which chapters are included. Exact pricing depends on team size, format and how the session is designed.
Yes, UK-wide. Sessions run at your office, your venue, or somewhere neutral if that suits the team better.
Always, and it works considerably better that way. We talk before the session about what is going on, so the day addresses real situations rather than generic scenarios.
Profiles need about two weeks before the session, so three to four weeks of notice is comfortable. Shorter notice is sometimes possible, just ask.
Often that is exactly when it helps, because it gives people a way to talk about difference without it becoming personal. Worth a conversation first so I understand what we are walking into.
Most training measurement stops at whether people enjoyed the day. That is worth knowing but it is not the point. What matters is whether behaviour changed and whether the team noticed. If you need to evidence that for a board or an L&D budget, it is worth designing in before the session rather than reconstructing it afterwards.
Half-day sessions typically run for 3–4 hours. Full-day workshops typically run for 6–7 hours and allow more time for team dynamics, communication and action planning.
Most workshops include between 6 and 30 participants, although larger groups can be accommodated with an adapted format. The limit typically being driven by the logistics / size of the room you have available. We have run sessions for over 100 people.
Yes. Every participant completes the Insights Discovery evaluator and receives their personalised profile before the workshop.
Their profile remains valid and a one-to-one debrief can usually be arranged separately, so they don't miss the personal insight from the session.
A typical session covers perception, self-awareness and emotional intelligence in context, the underlying Jungian psychology behind the four colour energies, communication preference exercises, an explanation of profiles, wheels and graphs, exploration of the team wheel and team dynamics, and action planning to close.
Yes — workshops can be delivered fully virtually, in person, or as a hybrid. Virtual sessions use the same materials and exercises, adapted for online collaboration tools.
Many organisations follow up with a Team Performance Indicator to uncover other areas that may need developing, one-to-one coaching, a wider leadership development programme, or additional Insights Discovery chapters such as Effective Selling alongside a sales effectiveness workshop.
