The Challenge

Having recently undertaken a restructure, the senior leadership team was composed of 50% new members — a mix of promoted staff and new appointments. We needed a structured way to accelerate how quickly the team could understand one another's communication styles, strengths and working preferences, and build a shared language from the outset.

What Stood Out

What stood out most was how accessible and engaging the Insights model was for every member of the team. Matthew tailored the session to our organisational context, used examples that resonated with college life, and created an atmosphere that was relaxed, inclusive and genuinely enjoyable.

The Impact

What's Next

We are extending the programme to include our governing body, with a view to examine the relationships between the board and executive team — and continuing to embed the colour language into performance management, coaching and strategic planning.
